About The Artist
Born in 1976, DawnMarie Williams grew up with a passion for creating artwork. At a
young age she realized God had blessed her with creativity and she developed these
gifts throughout her childhood. The artwork she has created over the years has
received countless national awards and international recognition. Her God given gift
has taken her and her work to private galleries in Paris, Hawaii, Scotland, England, and
Mexico to name a few.
In the spring of 1996 she moved to the beautiful Island of Cozumel, Mexico where she
touched the lives of many; making countless friends and memories. After ten years of
island life, she returned to her home town of Bensenville, Illinois. Shortly thereafter she
moved to the beautiful Hawaiian islands where she currently reside.
Over the past 18 years she has devoted much of her time to the creation of her current
company, Illustrations & More. When not creating gallery work, she can be found on any
of the breathtaking beaches of Oahu with her husband or at home with her beloved cat
"Angel", Shetland Sheepdog "Ozzy" or her Senegal Parrot "Bailey".
She continues to further develop her natural talents through local tourism and galleries
that host her works. However, majority of her commissioned work comes directly by
word of mouth. She is a globally recognized artist because people who have received
an illustration from DawnMarie have always recommended her to family and friends.
Over the years she has found a deep love for animal rescue groups and donates much
of her work for fund-raising with various groups. This devotion for animals and nature is
directly reflected in her work. When not actively involved with rescue groups DawnMarie
volunteers her time within her community as a proud military spouse sharing her pride
in the Great United States of America and her love of art with others.
