Beautiful Lita pregnant with puppies.
Lita is a stray that was found roaming the neighborhood the weekend of March 7th.
I searched all possible ways to find her owners to no success. I legally adopted her via the Humane Society
for the duration of her pregnancy.
She was taken to the vet on base and confirmed my suspicions that she was pregnant. I had ultra sound tests
done to confirm the number of babies and the term she was in.
Lita has the most loving and tranquil personality and gets along great with our Shelty "Ozzy", Cat "Angel" and
Senegal Parrot "Bailey".
I want to keep Lita but already having a dog, cat, parrot (big handful) and a fish in a small home is trying my
husbands nerves already.
I took Lita in during her pregnancy because I did not want her to end up at the pound where she may have
been put down or end up loosing the puppies because of stress. I promised my husband (who was deployed
when I found her) that all would find new homes once the puppies were of age to be weened from the mother
